Mattress Types
There are many types of mattresses, our mattresses come with a selection of fillings, feels and firmnesses. All our mattresses use pocket springs or open coil spring systems for their primary support, with a choice of topping or encapsulation for comfort. Our comfort layers include Memory Foam, Gel, Natural Latex, Natural Fillings (Cashmere, Cotton, Silk, Wool) and Hybrid Foams. With comfort levels available from soft to orthopaedic firm, with our Harrison Spinks beds available with customisable firmnesses, including half and half firmnesses (left & right).
When choosing your mattress think about your ideal mattress firmness, whether you would like a soft feel mattress for comfort and support, or something firmer like one of our many orthopaedic mattresses. Where you can we always suggest choosing one of our pocket sprung mattresses over an open coil system as these minimise disturbing your sleeping partner as well as generally being more supportive. You should also consider your sleeping positions through the night, as side, back and front sleepers all prefer different feels. We are more than happy to help you in store with your many questions when choosing a mattress, base or complete bed.
All our beds and mattresses are available in the following sizes:
- Single (90 x 190cm / 3'0" x 6'3")
- Small Double (120 x 190cm / 4'0" x 6'3")
- Double (135 x 190cm / 4'6" x 6'3")
- King Size (150 x 200cm / 5'0" x 6'6")
- Super King Size (180 x 200cm / 6'0" x 6'6")
- Custom sizes also available on request (beds and mattresses)
