Lift and Rise Mobility Recliners

Our Single Motor and Dual Motor action recliners both lift and tilt the chair forwards so that getting in and out is the easiest thing imaginable. This full powerlift facility is designed to assist sufferers of arthritis, rheumatism, MS, poor circulation and many other mobility restrictions.

The smooth and easy Single Motor action enables the footrest to be fully raised before the back starts reclining. It also allows the sleeping position to be reached (less reclined than on Dual Motor designs).

The sophisticated Dual Motor mechanisms enable you to control the backrest and footrest independently to reach the exact position you want including a near-horizontal full sleeping position.

Home Demonstrations

We are able to arrange home visits by our friendly team for selected furniture. Primarily these home visits are geared towards Lift and Tilt - Riser Recliners, however we are able to visit with other furniture if requested.

These home visits are no obligation, complimentary visits, where our expert team can demonstrate and present furniture options if you are unable to visit the store in person due to mobility or personal reasons.

Single, Dual or Quad Motor Recliner Chairs?

When discussing the number of motors in a chair the term single motor recliner chair, dual motor recliner chair is used. There are many differences between these models but to summarise in brief terms

Single Motor Riser Recliners: These models have a single motor. When reclining first the leg section rises up and then the back section reclines. The rise mechanism is unaffected.

Dual Motor Riser Recliners: The foot and back reclining mechanisms can be individually controlled. It is also possible to partially recline the back when lifting the chair if needed

Quad Motor Riser Recliners: These chairs perform all the actions of the dual motor riser chairs but also have adjustable lumbar support and a motion headrest (movement above the shoulders).

All these models are available VAT exempt as mobility aids.
